Riverside Studios is a unique art gallery and gift shop in downtown Truckee. It is owned and operated by four woman artists: Mary Guerra, Alanna Hughes, Kahlil Johnson and Sondrea Larsen. It began in 2002 as a working artists studio but since then Riverside Studios has grown into a thriving business in the heart of historical downtown Truckee.
Riverside Studios mission is to cultivate artistic growth in the Truckee Community while handcrafting one of a kind artistic goods, creating a unique shopping experience for both locals and tourists alike. From paintings to pottery, from leather goods to jewelry and metal sculpture there is something for everyone.
Riverside Studios has had many accomplishments through the years of operation such as the winning of numerous “Best of” awards in the Sierra Sun and Tahoe Quarterly, being featured in Sunset Magazine as well as on HGTV and has had the honor of accepting Best Small Business, awarded by the Truckee Chamber of Commerce.
