Join us May 5th from 5.00 - 8.00pm for an art reception

with local artist Sara Smith.

Sara's work is influenced by science, by nature, by the study of both human and animal social systems, by individual and collective behavior, and by meditation.
In this collection of work Sara focuses on the mother and bear cub. By focusing on the familial side of these beautiful animals she hopes to open a doorway to the connections that we share, as fellow inhabitants of both this place and this world. Mama protects her cub; love is universal.

We will be serving up fresh music by the talented Ann Marie Sheridan.

Join us April 7th from 5.00-8.00pm for the opening of work by Alison Armstrong and her project, 'Scarce'.

Ali grew up in Fort Lauderdale Florida. She began her career as a free lance portrait artist.  In 2014 she started Scarce, to raise money and awareness for animal species in crisis.

Scarce exists to encourage responsible protection of the endangered and to never forget the beauty of the extinct. Ali paints extinct animals in black and white because they are forever gone. To the endangered she adds a touch of color, for these there is hope.

10% of sales from Ali Armstrong's work, 'Scarce' will be donated by Ali and Riverside to various non profit organizations in support of endangered species and awareness programs !

As a photojournalist and writer, Nicole has covered stories about women boxers in Uganda, a special surfing community in Senegal, and an all-women’s rally car race in Morocco, just to name a few.
She frequently travels solo to remote places like the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Cambodia. “When you’re alone, especially as a woman,” says Dreon, “it suggests to people that you trust them.”

'Solo', offers a glimpse into Dreon’s travels and the people and places she’s discovered along the way!
