Join us on October 7th for First Friday as we celebrate new work from Nancy Holliday!
I love photos that make you wonder. I found myself pondering these relics shot in the Ghost Towns of Montana. Perhaps you will pause here for a minute or so and wonder:
What was that last record playing on the old record player? Was anyone singing along?
Whose shoes are those? And where is the matching shoe? Was the guy who wore these football cleats any good at the game?
I love to experiment with print materials. Having printed on wood and metal, I am now playing with mylar and glass. The way light comes through these materials makes them particularly beautiful in architectural applications including barn doors and room dividers and screens. Some of my images set in glass and resin are also now being used in a brew pub mezzanine railing in the bay area.
Reception: Friday October 7th, 5:00pm-8:00pm
There will be live music and refreshments will be served!
Nancy's work will hang for through the month of October and November.
